FLORENCE, AZ — Two escaped inmates from the Arizona State Prison Complex-Florence have been captured, officials have confirmed.
On Thursday, the Coolidge Police Department received several calls from residents in reference to the escaped prisoners.
Authorities had been searching for David Harmon and John Charpiot since the two escaped from the State Prison in Florence on Saturday.

Police posted on Facebook Thursday morning that the two had been taken into custody at the Pinal County Jail and are awaiting transport back to the Department of Corrections.
U.S. Marshals officials say two deputy marshals involved in an unrelated fugitive search were in the Coolidge area when they heard a police radio call about a disturbance in a nearby cotton field.
When they arrived minutes later, they found the two fugitives. The deputy marshals had to taser the men to get them into custody, officials said.
Joe Marquez was driving in the area of the arrests Thursday morning when he noticed the two men in a remote area.
"As I slowed down, this man runs up to me and tells me, 'Joe, Joe, call the cops I think these are the guys they're looking for,'" Marquez said.
Marquez told ABC15 he kept eyes on the fugitives as they made their way through a field.
"One guy kept getting down on his knees, just kind of throwing up," he said. "I think he was just really tired."
Marquez said authorities arrived about 10 minutes after he called 911 and apprehended Harmon and Charpiot.
"I'm just like, 'I can't believe this is happening,’" he said. "Really nerve-racking. Scared. Exciting, everything at the same time."
According to the Arizona Department of Corrections, Charpiot was convicted of molestation of a child and sex abuse, and entered the prison in 2011 to serve 35 years. Harmon was admitted to prison in 2012 and was serving a total of 100 years. His convictions include kidnapping and second-degree burglary.
There was a reward of up to $70,000 total in the case. Marquez said if he gets any reward money he will help his mom and also clear up some bills.
