SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Scottsdale say a man is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting at a vehicle with family members inside, resulting in his son being seriously wounded.
Authorities say 42-year-old Jason Robert Moore was taken into custody during a traffic stop at 9:30 p.m. Monday about four hours after the shooting.
A woman told police that her ex-husband was chasing her in a separate vehicle while she was driving with the couple's teenage son and daughter in her car.
Police say the suspect allegedly fired multiple times into the family's vehicle at an intersection and only the teen boy was wounded.
They say Moore is being held on suspicion of attempted murder, aggravated assault and endangerment.
