MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Mesa say they're investigating a car crash that has left one person dead and another seriously injured.
They say a passenger car with three people inside and a minivan with only a driver as an occupant collided early Sunday morning near Gilbert and McKellips roads.
Police say the minivan's driver was pronounced dead at the scene while one person in the car was seriously injured.
The other two car occupants were treated for less serious injuries.
Police say it's unknown if impairment was a factor.
They say investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
