A family from New Mexico that was heading to Arizona last week has been reported missing.

Albuquerque Police Department says four people, Stephen Tilden, Melody Vieux, 5-year-old Harveena Tilden and 1-year-old Agnes Tilden, left for Arizona on August 25.

Police reportedly stopped them on I-40 west of Albuquerque near Dancing Eagle Travel Center on August 26, but their location after that time is not known.

Vieux reportedly sent a text message to family on August 27 that Stephen, her boyfriend, kept "striking her". She reportedly said "that she and the girls were trying to walk away but that Stephen keeps pushing her." There has been no further communication.

The family was last known to be traveling in a 1999 grey Chevy van with Arizona license plates "CNM9186".

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Apodaca of the APD Missing Persons Unit at 505-924-6094.
