A motorcycle rider lost his life Sunday afternoon after colliding with a car in Queen Creek.
Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies say the crash happened around 12:25 p.m. near Power Road and Chandler Heights.
The motorcycle rider was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but did not survive deputies say.
The driver of the car remained on scene. Authorities say impairment does not appear to be a factor at this time.
The cause of the collision is under investigation. The victim is not being identified at this time.
