LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities in northwestern Arizona say a man is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot by police who were trying to arrest him.
The Mohave County Sheriff's office says 29-year-old Jon Steven Douglas of Lake Havasu City was in an area hospital Friday.
He was shot by a Lake Havasu City police officer Thursday night following a struggle with police.
The sheriff's office says Douglas was unarmed.
