Authorities are investigating after three corrections officers at Lewis Prison became ill after searching an inmate's cell Monday.
According to the Department of Corrections, one of the officers became light-headed and nauseous after the search. Shortly after, two more officers started experiencing the same symptoms.
Firefighters responded to the prison and transported three officers to the hospital.
The department is investigating what made the officers ill.
