MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say one person has been killed in a car crash on U.S. 60 in Mesa.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the crash occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday.
Troopers say they arrived at the scene to find one vehicle facing sideways and a seriously injured person inside who later died.
The name of the person who died hasn't been released yet.
DPS officials say troopers arrested one person who they say was involved in the fatal crash.

The investigation is ongoing to determine whether impairment was a factor in the incident.
