Six Chandler students were arrested in connection with a hazing case, according to police, KGUN9 sister station KNXV reports.

Sgt. Daniel Mejia with the Chandler Police Department said Wednesday that five Hamilton High School students and one Chief Hill Learning Academy student were identified after an investigation that started in February.

Police say hazing crimes are believed to have happened on school grounds, involving members of the Hamilton High football team. They reportedly occurred between September 2015 and January 2017.

The six people arrested -- five juveniles and an adult male -- are expected to be charged with sexual assault, kidnapping and aggravated assault.

So far police have not released the identity of the adult.

More victims may also exist, so police are asking anyone with information to come forward. If you know anything, contact police at 480-782-4130.
