Just like baseball has a farm team, the Indianapolis 500 has a system for fostering young driving talent. It's called Indy Lights and that's where you can find one serious, but very baby-faced, upstart named Zach Veach. This 21-year-old speedster is coming up fast on the outside. Teresa Strasser shares his road to Indy and three reasons why you should keep an eye on him.
1. He's on pace for a stellar racing career with multiple top-10 finishes so far this season.
2. Since 2010, the Stockdale, Ohio native has been one of Oprah's ambassadors for her "No Phone Zone" program. He even added 33 Indy 500 drivers to the program, including Danica Patrick and Helio Castroneves.
3. Despite the baby face, he's very grounded and mature.
Zach is revving up for a long career!
