TUCSON, Ariz. — Martha McSally has officially announced her campaign for the U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
Her campaign tweeted out a video with the caption "IT’S TIME! I’m officially launching my campaign for U.S. Senate today - check out my launch video here!"
This is the second time that McSally has run for the Senate.
She lost to U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema in 2018.
Governor Doug Ducey eventually appointed her to the seat previously held by U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, who filled the seat after U.S Senator John McCain died.
McSally will likely be the Republican nominee and will likely face Mark Kelly, who is running as a democrat.
