Saguaro National Park, Grand Canyon, reopen after partial shutdown

The Saguaro National Park and Grand Canyon have reopened following the partial government shutdown on Saturday, January 26.

Saguaro National park resumed normal operations at noon today, and put out daily 9a.m. to 5p.m. business hours.

The Grand Canyon park also announced its opening around noon, saying that, while many centers will be open, not all park functions would be available right away.

According to the National Park Servicewebsite, schedules for different parts of the park will also be varied, dependent on staff size and complexity operations.

During the shutdown, the Grand Canyon park stayed open with limited services available to visitors.
