TUCSON, Ariz. — Seafood fans rejoiced, then quickly mourned the launch of a new product from McCormick seasoning this week.
The company announced production of a hot sauce based on its Old Bay seasoning, a staple for crabs, fish, shellfish and all other types of seafood.
But within an hour of the launch of Old Bay Hot Sauce on Wednesday, McCormick's website crashed, then announced the product was out of stock.
The company says the product is limited edition, but a tweet from Old Bay says they're working on restocking the hot sauce soon.
