The NFL confirmed its account was hacked, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
The hacked account sent out a tweet saying Commissioner Roger Goodell had died, but the tweet was a hoax, Schefter reported.
NFL's Twitter account was hacked. Roger Goodell is working away.
