DETROIT, Michigan — "Y'all killed the wrong person. I know for a fact my brother didn't do nothing to nobody," said Jazmyn Parker as she stood on Nashville street, not far from where her brother was murdered Thursday night. "Another little black girl in Detroit with no daddy."

Javon Parker, 26, was one of five people shot on Nashville near Gunston Avenue around 8:35 Thursday night.

7 Action News has learned that Detroit Police believe the shooting stemmed from a feud on Facebook, and a police source says it appears the intended target left the location before shots were fired.

Javon Parker's sister says he was not involved in any dispute on social media or anywhere. Parker's only obsession was his nine-month-old daughter, Da'kotah. He had plans to marry the child's mother.

A possible suspect vehicle is described as an older dark-colored, possibly black, Oldsmobile Alero.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Detroit Police homicide investigators at 313-596-2260.

Parker's loved ones have started a GoFundMe account for help in covering his funeral costs.

"My brother didn't do nothing to nobody," said Parker's sister. "He got a daughter. She ain't even one yet and she got to grow up with no daddy."

Three other men and a woman were also shot. At least two of them are already out of the hospital, and the others are expected to survive.
