Senator Elizabeth Warren was quick to fire back at President Donald Trump on Wednesday, after Trump sent out a tweet honoring International Women’s Day.

The Democratic senator’s comments came in response to Trump’s Wednesday tweet," I have tremendous respect for women and the many roles they serve that are vital to the fabric of our society and our economy. On International Women's Day, join me in honoring the critical role of women here in America & around the world."

The tweet was met with an eye roll by some, since Trump has come under fire for crude and sexist comments about women in the past.

According to Fortune, Warren reacted to the tweet on MSNBC's Live with Stephanie Ruhle, saying, "Talk is cheap. Put your money where your mouth is. Give us some of the rules and regulations that will be helpful to this economy, helpful to women, helpful to our families, helpful to our communities."
