An SUV plowed into a bedroom of a home in Cleveland where a grandmother and grandfather and a 4-month-old baby were sleeping overnight.
On Thursday, just after 1:30 a.m. local time, the driver of an SUV missed a 90-degree turn and went up the front yard and into the house.

The entire SUV was inside the home, parked just inches from the bed.
The driver was held inside the vehicle by the grandparents until police arrived.
Lindsey Whitfield was in bed with his wife and their 4-month old grandchild when they heard a bang.
"I grabbed the baby and rolled over. The next thing you know, the truck was on top of the bed. They ended up pinned in the corner ... she thought we were gone because she didn't hear us," Whitfield said.
Cleveland EMS checked the grandparents and the baby but no one suffered any injuries beyond a few cuts.

Whitfield said the driver tried to back up and get away from the scene.
The driver was arrested at the scene by Cleveland police. It's unknown what charges he may face and if drugs or alcohol were factors.
To prevent something like this from happening again, Whitfield wants to talk to the city about placing a guardrail at E. 174th Place and Dynes Avenue.
The family said they were going to stay with another family member while the home is repaired.
