An Arizona firefighter is sharing what it is like to be on the job and explain the many situations faced every day.
Avondale Fire & Medical firefighter Kyle Winterstein was tasked by his department to make a video about "what we do" as firefighters.
In a Facebook post, Winterstein says it took seven months to shoot the project. The 15 minute long video follows firefighters on different calls, in real time, and portrays the many incidents firefighters face in any given shift.
Winterstein explains that most of the footage can never be used "out of respect for those involved," but goes on to say the video stands as a tribute to first responders everywhere.
Avondale is about 20 miles west of Phoenix.
