Amazon's deals every 5 minutes begin this Friday

Online retail giant Amazon has announced it will roll out holiday shopping deals every 5 minutes beginning this week.

The deals will start today and last into Black Friday, Nov. 27. Last season, Amazon launched new deals about every 10 minutes.

Amazon will also have 10 additional deals on Thanksgiving Day, and again on Black Friday. At the beginning of November, the retailer began offering "Countdown to Black Friday" deals.
