TAMPA, Fla. — A large water main break has closed part of N. Rome Avenue in Tampa.
Tampa Police responded to the water main break around 6 p.m. on Thursday.
A portion of N. Rome between West Rio Vista Drive and Henry Avenue is currently shut down.

Crews are currently working to repair the break.
Tampa Police is asking residents in the area to stay in their homes to avoid the wire, in case there are any electrical wires down.
