TUCSON, Ariz. — The Zoppé: Italian Family Circus is back in Tucson for its ninth year.
The Family Circus is from Jan. 10 until Jan. 26 at the Mercado San Agustin, 100 South Avenida Del Convento.
The circus includes sixth-generation artist Giovanni Zoppé as Nino the clown, traditions such as acrobatic, equestrian showmanship, canine capers, and audience participation.
Zoppé tours with its own tent-ring, for the audience to watch and experience the European circus arts, including jugglers; dancing dogs, comedic clowning, and aerialists.
The Zoppé Family Circus started over 175 years ago in Europe, and is now it's sixth-generation.
