A big donation for Youth on Their Own of more than $78,000.

The money comes from Tucson Subaru, who presented the check Monday to the local non-profit.

According to a release, Youth On Their Own has been a drop-out prevention program that supports the high school graduation of homeless unaccompanied youth in the Greater Tucson by providing financial assistance, basic human needs and guidance for over 30 years.

The program has helped more than 15,000 students stay in school and become self-sufficient.

The gift comes during Subaru's Share the Love event.

Tucson Subaru is owned by the DiChristofano family. The family has been in the automotive sales and service business in Tucson since 1972
