A 2-year-old child died this afternoon after falling down a cliff in Sedona.
The cliff is along the Midgley Bridge Trail, a well-known tourist attraction in Coconino County.
According to the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, Sedona Fire personnel rappelled 50 to 60 feet down the cliff to where the child had fallen and found the child had died.
The family of the child was on vacation in Sedona, visiting from Omaha, Nebraska.
Officials from the Coconino County Sheriff's Office and the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating this case.
