Yavapai County judge plans to retire this fall

Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem Jeffrey Paupore has announced his intention to retire this fall.

Paupore has been with the court for four years.
Court officials say they now are accepting applications for the position of a full-time Judge Pro Tem Division A.
Applicants must be at least 30 years of age, of good moral character, admitted to the practice of law in Arizona, and a resident of Arizona for the past five years.
A committee will review and select finalists to be forwarded to Presiding Judge David Mackey for consideration.
Appointees are subject to the approval of the Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court and the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.
