Tucson is celebrated World Refugee Day Saturday at Catalina High School.
The event honors the men, women, and children who are forced to flee their homeland under the threat of persecution. conflict and violence.
Highlighting this day of family fun will be an official swearing-in ceremony at 11:00 a.m. for Tucson's and America's newest citizens-refugee children.
Congressman Raul Grijalva attended the four hour event.
As we celebrate this day and we celebrate the contributions of refugees and immigrants to this country that...working toward a more perfect union, Grijalva said.
