A woman has been stung by bees multiple times on Tucson's northwest side.
Tucson Fire Capt. Andy Skaggs, says the incident happened near Flowing Wells and Panama.
A woman in her 70's was stung about 40 times and transported to a local area hospital.
According to Skaggs, a woman was out in her front yard doing yard work and so was her neighbor. The neighbor possibly stirred up the bees on his property and she was stung on her property.
Firefighters hit the bulk of the bees with the foam line which will eliminate the majority of bees.
The best advice crews is to get out of the environment and get into a closed environment like a car or house. Don't get in a pool because bees will wait for you. Get away and seek shelter and seek indoor shelter like your car our house.
KGUN9 has a crew headed to the scene and will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
