A woman is now safe after being rescued from atop her vehicle Friday morning during a swift water resuce.
Avra Valley Fire Department says crews got the call around 4:30 a.m. about a vehicle in the Brawley Wash, on Manville. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the woman on top of her vehicle. She was saved and is being evaluated by paramedics. She is expected to be o.k..
Pima County Sheriff's Deputies also assisted in the swift water rescue. PCSD says Manville and Reservation Rd. are closed due to flooding.
