Woman rescued after near drowning

TUCSON, Ariz. - Rural Metro firefighters rescued a woman who nearly drowned Monday.

According to the department, the call came in at about 12:30 p.m. from the Swan and Sunrise area.

Bystanders pulled a middle-aged woman, who had been swimming alone, out of a private pool. She had no pulse, and the bystanders gave her CPR until crews arrived.

The woman was hospitalized.
