PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a 50-year-old woman has been killed in a Phoenix apartment. Police Sgt. Ann Justus has offered few details in reporting the death of 50-year-old Lori Bourque, who authorities believe was killed by an unidentified man around 9 p.m. Monday.
Justus says the apartment was initially declared a hazardous materials scene because of a natural gas leak that was later stopped by firefighters. There is no other word on the suspect and no arrests have been reported. The sergeant says investigators were still at the scene at mid-morning Tuesday trying to piece together what happened.
