The Tucson Police Department told KGUN9 a woman was killed in a construction accident on the southside near Benson Highway and Alvernon Way.
Police said the adult woman was a construction worker. She has hit by equipment while doing groundwork.
The construction was being done on private property.
Traffic and homicide detectives are investigating.
