Tucson police are working a serious injury traffic collision involving a woman near South Alvernon Way and East Valencia Road, according to Sgt. Kimberly Bay.
The woman has been transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Bay says the incident happened in the 6200 block of South Earp Wash Lane. The road is now closed.

Detectives are en route to the scene to investigate the collision.
