PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police have identified a woman who was found dead in an apartment complex parking lot.
Police Sgt. Tommy Thompsons said Monday that the victim is 41-year-old Gwen Dancil.
According to investigators, witnesses heard gunshots around 1:45 a.m. Friday in the apartment complex on the city's west side.
Dancil was later found in the parking lot. She was pronounced dead.
Investigators say evidence points to the killing being a homicide.
No suspects have been identified.
The investigation remains ongoing.
