TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A 73-year-old woman died Monday from injuries she suffered in single-vehicle southside wreck in October.
On Oct. 17, Mercy Figueroa crashed in the 2800 block of South Mission Road, crashing her 1994 Ford Crown Victoria into a guard rail. Tucson police say she was trying to change lanes while traveling northbound on South Mission Road, north of Ajo Way. She over-corrected and crossed the raised median, striking the rail on the west side of Mission.
Neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be factors in the wreck.
