Nogales Police say a 70-year-old woman was found dead Tuesday at the Pimeria Alta Museum.
Officers say the woman was identified as 70-year-old Maria Teresa Leal. Leal was the curator of the museum.
She spearheaded a time capsule project at the museum and recently sealed a new time capsule to be opened in 2115.
A preliminary investigation by NPD shows that there were no signs of foul play in this case. Nogales Police say it is possible that Leal died from natural causes.
There will be a full examination by the Pima County Medical Examiner.
