The Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour of rare bomber and fighter WWII aircraft made a stop in Marana this weekend, according to a press release.
The vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, B-25 Mitchell, North American P-51 Mustang and Consolidated B-24 Liberator aircraft were present at the Marana Regional Airport.
The tour allowed visitors to take a 30 minute flight aboard either the B-17 or B-24 aircraft for $450 per person. Flights aboard the P-51 costed $2,200 for a half hour and $3,200 for a full hour. B-25 flights costed $400 per person.
