TUCSON, Ariz. - Edgar Rice Burroughs will be celebrated at the ERB Fest in Willcox, Ariz.
Burroughs, the author of "Tarzan" and "John Carter," is considered by some to be the great-grandfather of contemporary popular culture.
His work credited for inspiring franchises like Star Wars, Superman, Marvel’s Avengers, and Avatar.
The event will include a vendor room full of collectibles, guest speakers, a screening of the classic Tarzan film, and a banquet BBQ.
ERB-Fest is expected to take place on Aug. 1-4 at 312 W. Stewart Street in Willcox.
