Where to donate Thanksgiving turkeys in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. — Organizations across Tucson are collecting supplies for families in need this Thanksgiving.

These are the places to donate this year:

Salvation Army Tucson

The Salvation Army Tucson says it plans to serve over 500 people on Thanksgiving day.

Turkey donations can be dropped off at the following locations until Nov. 21:

  • The Salvation Army Tucson, All Nations Corps, 1001 N Richey, M-F, 9:30 AM to 4 PM
  • The Salvation Army Tucson Hospitality House, 1002 N. Main Ave., 7 days per week, 7 am - 7 pm.

Gospel Rescue Mission Tucson

This year, Gospel Rescue Mission is handing out Thanksgiving Blessings to Go with a COVID-safe drive-thru.

While the organization is good on most of the Thanksgiving fixings, it is in need of one thing - pies!

Tucsonans can drop off pies at 4550 s Palo Verde. You can also donate money here.

Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona

The food bank is hosting the Thanksgiving Harvest Food Drive on Nov. 16 at Sam's Club (4701 N Stone Ave). The organization will be collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations all day long.
