Interstate 10 westbound is closed near Benson, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The closure is due to a law enforcement situation. Cochise County Sheriff's Department said in a post that the incident was fatal.
There is no reopening time.
Motorists are exiting southbound onto State Route 90. They are then given the option to go west on State Route 82 and then northbound on State Route 83 to reconnect with the interstate.
