UPDATE 4:16 a.m.:
The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) confirmed that two cars were involved in a crash at 6:13 p.m. on July 17 at I-10 westbound, milepost 214. The driver and passenger in one of the same cars were both pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver allegedly has non-life-threatening injuries. DPS confirms the lanes are open now.
