Weather is to blame for at least five crashes on I-40 near Flagstaff, according to the Department of Public Safety.
DPS Troopers say that two people were trying to help victims of a rollover crash when they were hit by a commercial vehicle and killed instantly.
Those two accidents coupled with hail and ice on the road caused three other collisions that injured six people in total.
