Elfrida is currently experiencing a water outage, according to a news release from the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
CCSO and Emergency Services were advised of a pump issue that has caused a water outage in Elfrida.
CCSO says the Elfrida Fire Department has non-pottable water for household use at the fire department located at 10293 North Central Highway.
The necessary repairs to the pump have been made and officials from the water company are waiting for power to be restored within the next two or three hours, at which time the water service will be restored.
Deputies are patrolling the area and checking in on high risk residents who are disabled, elderly, or are in need of medical supplies such as oxygen.
