Sheriff Chris Nanos provided a detailed update on the Nancy Guthrie missing person case Wednesday morning.
In a press conference, Nanos said the blood found on the porch came back to Nancy Guthrie through DNA analysis.
He provided the following timeline:
5:32 p.m. - Nancy Guthrie takes an Uber to her family's home for dinner. The Uber driver was interviewed by authorities.
9:48 p.m. - Nancy is dropped off at home. The garage door is opened.
9:50 p.m. - The garage door closes.
1:47 a.m. - The doorbell camera disconnects
2:12 a.m. - Software detects a person on camera, but no video is available.
2:28 a.m. - Nancy's pacemaker disconnects from the app on her phone.
11:56 a.m. - The family checks on Nancy, discovering she is missing.
12:03 p.m. - 911 is called.
12:15 p.m. - The first patrol arrives.
Nanos said PCSD has tapped the Pima Regional Critical Incident Team to assist, along with the FBI.
Heith Janke, FBI Phoenix Special Agent in Charge, announced a $50,000 reward for any information leading to recovery of Nancy Guthrie.
Janke said the agency has recruited agents from Phoenix and Quantico to assist in the case. He said agents are analyzing information from all digital sources, including banks and phone companies.
Janke said they are investigating several ransom letters, including the letter received by KGUN 9 and other media outlets, and have made one arrest in connection with one of the letters. The arrest was related to sending the ransom letter and not for Guthrie's kidnapping.
