TUCSON, Ariz. — Multiple crews assisted in the rescue of a man who fell down a cliff at Middle Elden Canyon earlier this month.
According to a Tweet from DPS, on Nov. 10, AZDPS Ranger 1 and 56 crews assisted the Coconino County Sheriff's Office during the incident.
The video released Tuesday shows the man in a high, narrow crevice.
"Incredibly, the man stopped his fall when he lodged his body within the crevice walls by extending his arms and legs before the crevice widened," Coconino Sheriff's Office said on its Facebook page.
Rescue units were able to safely secure the subject back up to the helicopter. He was not injured.
