The Pima County Superior Court has ordered the City of Tucson to conduct a recount of the votes cast in the city's Aug. 5 Democratic Party primary election for Ward 3 council member.
The ballot recount will begin next Wednesday, Aug. 20, and continue through Thursday, Aug. 21, according to the Tucson City Clerk's Office. Counting will begin at 9 a.m.
Once the recount is completed, the sealed results will be presented at the Superior Court hearing on Friday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m.
