Volunteers will take part in a meal-packing event Sunday to fight childhood hunger.
MOD Pizza and Generosity Feeds are teaming up for this event at Catalina High School. The efforts will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Over 300 volunteers are expected to create over 20,000 meals in a high-efficiency assembly line to measure, pack and seal balanced, nutritious meals.
This is part of a nationwide initiative to create over 500,000 meals by the end of 2018.
