TUCSON, Ariz. - The local non-profit 'Tucson Clean & Beautiful' cleaned up trash left in the RIllito River by park visitors.
Sofia Angkasa, an organizer of the group's events says keeping the area clean is of the utmost importance.
"Because the river is actually one of our most important areas not for just water, but also habitat around the city and also green structure around the city", Angkasa explained.
Tucson Clean & Beautiful's next event will feature recycling of donated electronics.
