Vans for Veterans hosted a benefit movie screening at The Loft Cinema on Sunday afternoon.
The featured film, "Citizen Soldier," is a documentary told from the point of view of American soldiers in Afghanistan.
One of the soldiers in the film, Martin Byrne, is from Tucson and has served a number of tours in Afghanistan.
The retired National Guard sergeant hopes the movie will bring healing to many veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress.
All of the proceeds went to the organization to help provide mobility vans to various veteran organizations.
