It's the second week of classes for students at the University of Arizona.
During the first week back, police issued 8 red tag for parties that got out of control.
The enforcement is part of the University of Arizona Police Department's new partnership with Tucson Police called the "red tag unit."
Residents who live in the area think the enforcement works well.
"I think it's pretty effective, pretty fair," said Christian Schaefer who lives near the UA.
UAPD officers will ride with TPD officers around campus to issue citations.
If students are cited, the dean's office will be notified and disciplinary action may follow.
