Professors at the University of Arizona are remembering the UA grad who was beaten to death in Greece last week.

Bakari Henderson graduated from the UA in May and his family says he was in Greece working on a photo shoot for a clothing line launch.

Nine people are facing murder charges in Henderson's death.

Dr. Phoebe Chalk Wadsworth says Bakari was in her Sports Management class his Sophomore year.

"One thing that I remember about Bakari is his smile. He sat right dead center in the middle of class and he was smiling and he was pretty talkative. As a young person, you know being a Sophomore in class with more Juniors and Seniors. I think he really wasn't very intimidated with getting up and sharing and speaking and sharing his opinions," said Chalk.

Bakari was in a fraternity at the UA and the school says he was a practice player for the women's basketball team.
