TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Arizona Alumni Association will kick off homecoming week with the traditional lighting of "A" Mountain.
The lighting of "A" Mountain will start at 5 p.m. and can be watched from Mercado San Augustine Annex, 267 South Avenida del Convento.
Free transportation will be offered from Old Main to and from the MSA Annex through CatTran. The first shuttle arrives at 4:30 p.m. and the last shuttle goes till 7 p.m.
The event will have Wilbur and Wilma, performances from UA Alumni Band, UA cheerleading, food trucks, and music.
Tickets costs $5 for public and alumni. Students get in free with CatCard.
